27 persons have been confirmed dead while 80 others are injured after a female suicide bomber detonated a bomb at a market place in Konduga community in Borno state this evening.
Two suicide bombers were also said to have blown themselves up at the gates of an internally displaced person (IDP) camp.
Although no life was lost in the attack, many were said to have sustained injuries.
The unfortunate incident happened less than 24 hours after Abubakar Shekau, leader of the sect, released a video where he threatened to carry out attacks in the ancient city.
